Talk about an event that has a life of it’s own—the Mal’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade, that began in 1983 to celebrate spring and benefit the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children, has spawned an international following that annually packs Downtown Jackson, Mississippi, with revelers. In honor of it’s 30th anniversary, Communication Arts was pleased to develop the Parade’s first online scrapbook to channel the interests of participants, supporters and thousands of spectators. Playfully applied images, illustrations, and side-scrolling navigation mimic the parade and the enthusiasm of its followers.

Multiple navigation-ways, links to area attractions, and a countdown to the event are a constant presence.

The online scrapbook features images of past parades and timely resource information on the coming event.
