The life and work of slain civil rights leader Medgar Wiley Evers are presented through archival images and film footage in this ten-minute video. First shown at the ceremonial presentation of his papers at the Mississippi Department of Archives & History and later adapted as a fundraising tool for the Myrlie and Medgar Evers Institute, the video was ultimately redeveloped for viewing within the permanent exhibit at the Jackson, Mississippi, international airport bearing his name. Communication Arts provided scripting, videotaping, editing, animation and post production.
