FROGS! Media Campaign TV & RADIO SPOTS 00:30 | SCREENVISION SPOT 00:15
For the FROGS! invasion of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, Communication Arts created commercials featuring a very determined Red-Eyed Tree Frog, whistling as he climbs the screen. Singing along, sharing their excitement about the different kinds of frogs featured at the Museum, are six children, vocalist/guitarist Bill Ellison, and whistler Andy Johnson. The multi-faceted broadcast campaign combines stock footage with still photos of other frogs to promote the “toad-ally cool” exhibit. frogs
The talented whistling frog makes a mesmerizing video teaser.
frogs Take a child’s nursery rhyme, adapt the words to match kids’ reactions to the many kinds of frogs visiting in town, get several children to sing along and invite people to hop over to the Museum of Natural Science. What you get is a 30-second radio commercial—also the soundtrack for the complementary TV spot—promoting the Museum’s special FROGS! exhibit.
Key to audience building is a 15-second ScreenVision spot playing at a local theater.

Yesterday, we saw the frogs,
down in the Museum’s hall,
green and red and blue,

the tiny one was best of all,
smooth and speckled,
they were oh so cool.
